Why I’m Running
For over 20 years, I’ve dedicated my life to Broward County’s students – as a teacher, instructional leader, and community advocate. I’m running for the School Board of Broward County because our students, families, and educators deserve experienced, thoughtful leadership that puts people, not politics, at the center of every decision.
With a background in both military service and public education, I bring a commitment to integrity, accountability, and service to every challenge we face.
A Legacy of Service
Veteran, U.S. Army Reserve
- Served from 2000–2008, including overseas combat deployments in Djibouti, Ethiopia, and Kenya
- Awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal and other commendations
- Roles included Civil Affairs Specialist and Country Coordinator
- Focused on humanitarian work: Infrastructure Development, Public Health, and Community Relations

- Husband of 17 years and proud father of two students currently attending Broward County Public Schools
- Resident of District 6 for over twenty eight years
- Advocate for public education by testifying before the Florida Legislature in Tallahassee, seeking funding for curriculum development and the implementation of student service-learning projects
- Former Chair of the Broward County Historical Commission & Urban Wilderness Advisory Board
- Lifelong community volunteer, mentor, community advocate, and educational thought leader
